2. Aldrick Robinson played really well catching 4 balls for 61 yards. He is a threat for a big play with his speed and its something you can't ignore. He is not really competing for the starting job with Josh Morgan and Leonard Hankerson but I would expect him to get more playing time this year. He was much more consistent in yesterdays game.
3. The defense looked solid but Kevin Kolb was knocked out of the game early and with EJ Manuel out as well the Bills really lacked another QB who could do much. One of my favorite players, Darryl Tapp, looked good recording a sack. Rookie Brandon Jenkins also had a sack though it was partially caused by Kevin Kolb being forced into him after Jenkins was already on the ground. I still love Amerson though he did miss a tackle on Spiller in the open field. In his defense a lot of really good corners would not have been able to make that tackle on Spiller.
4. Roy Helu continues to show his speed and his ability to become a receiver out of the backfield. Grossman hit him on a wheel route for 21 yards (a throw I don't believe White could have made) and ran well, 14 carries for for 70 yards with 1 fumble he then recovered. Chris Thompson had another fumble but it is important to remember he missed a lot of time and is only just now working himself back into the game. His spot on the team may be more secure with the injury to Richard Crawford as Thompson showed good return man ability. However, Keiland Williams was more impressive in the run game in my opinion. Williams had 8 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown.
5. RGIII is quite the entertainer. He was suited up again for the first half of this game but that was not all he did. He was constantly making his way around the sideline talking, singing and dancing. He talked with the quarterbacks, his offensive line, and other players. I will be coming out with another post later on him and his charisma.
6. Overall, it was a great game for the Skins with no big injuries outside of Richard Crawford. For more information about the game and Shanahans thoughts here is a perfect article that sums it up from Redskins Republic.
