Redskins Minicamp: Rookies playing with the first team

It appears that I may have been off with my predictions about the depth chart already. Phillip Thomas, Bacarri Rambo, and David Amerson all spent most of their time playing with the first team defense today. However, keep in mind that Josh Wilson and Brandon Meriweather are still recovering from injuries so everyone moves up. It does seem that at the very least there is a high probability of at least one of the rookie safeties being named a starter. I still believe that Meriweather and Josh Wilson will be starters once they return. The most interesting part of all of this is that Rambo has been spending most of his time at free safety while Thomas has been playing in the box. However, it also appears that Thomas has shown the most promise so far. While it is still early this will make for an interesting rotation as both continue to develop.
